What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Some cookies are needed for a site to work; others track how you use it or show you adverts.
The cookies we use
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for services you ask for, such as booking and paying for an appointment. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the law does not require us to ask for your consent first, but we explain them here so you know what they do.
| Cookie | Set by | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Pabau, our booking system | Booking page and booking forms | Keeps your booking session together while you choose an appointment | Until you close your browser |
m, __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe, our payment provider | Booking and payment pages | Helps Stripe detect and prevent fraudulent payments | 30 minutes to 2 years |
| WordPress login cookies | This website | Staff login area only | Lets our team sign in to manage the website | Until the session ends |
You can read more in Pabau’s privacy policy and Stripe’s privacy policy.
Other services our pages use
- Bot protection: our booking page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that bookings are made by people, not automated programs.
- Maps: the maps on our contact, location and class pages are still pictures from OpenStreetMap, stored on our own website. Nothing is sent to Google unless you tap a map to open it in Google Maps.
- Video: videos on our site load from our video host only when you press play.
Controlling cookies
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to book or pay online, but you can always book by phone or email instead.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
